Journal ArticleDOI

Physical and spectroscopic studies on novel vanadyl complexes of some substituted thiosemicarbazides.

TL;DR: The intensity and position of the VO band in the IR spectra reflect not only the nature of the ligand but also the geometry of the complex formed, and the end product on thermal degradation of most complexes was VO(2).
Journal ArticleDOI

Spectral, magnetic, electrical and thermal studies on malonyl bis(thiosemicarbazide) complexes

TL;DR: In this paper, the properties of mono-and binuclear complexes of malonyl bis(thiosemicarbazide), H4 MBT, with VO2+, Co2+, Ni2+, Cu2+, Cd2+ and Pt4+ have been isolated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Spectral, magnetic, thermal and electrochemical studies on phthaloyl bis(thiosemicarbazide) complexes

TL;DR: In this article, the coordination behavior of phthaloyl bis(thiosemicarbazide), H4PBT, towards VO2+, Co(II), Ni(II, Cu(II) and ions has been investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and spectroscopic characterization of new mono- and binuclear complexes of some NH(1) thiosemicarbazides

TL;DR: In this article, the 4-ethylthiosemicarbazide and its NH(1) derivatives have been prepared and confirmed by elemental analysis and 1H-NMR spectra to produce diverse complexes with Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II).
Journal ArticleDOI

Perchlorate mixed–ligand copper(II) complexes of β-diketone and ethylene diamine derivatives: Thermal, spectroscopic and biochemical studies

TL;DR: The biochemical studies showed that, the diamines 3a-c have powerful effects on degradation of DNA and protein and the antibacterial screening demonstrated that the diamine (DA-Cl), 3b has the maximum and broad activities against Gram +ve and Gram -ve bacterial strains.
