Extraction of pure natural hydroxyapatite from the bovine bones bio waste by three different methods
Nasser A.M. Barakat,Nasser A.M. Barakat,Myung Seob Khil,A.M. Omran,Faheem A. Sheikh,Hak Yong Kim +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, three different processes have been applied to extract the natural hydroxyapatite: thermal decomposition, subcritical water and alkaline hydrothermal processes, and the results obtained by many physiochemical analyses have indicated that all the utilized methods have the ability to eliminate the organic compounds present in the bovine bones.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and Optical Properties of Two Cobalt Oxides (CoO and Co3O4) Nanofibers Produced by Electrospinning Process
TL;DR: In this paper, an aqueous cobalt acetate tetrahydrate and poly(vinyl alcohol) mixture has been electrospun and vacuously dried at 80 °C.
Journal ArticleDOI
Spider-net within the N6, PVA and PU electrospun nanofiber mats using salt addition: Novel strategy in the electrospinning process
TL;DR: In this article, a strategy to synthesize electrospun polymeric nanofiber mats containing spider-net binding the main nanofibers was introduced, which improved the mechanical properties and the wetability of the nylon6 and poly(vinyl alcohol) mat.
Reference BookDOI
Interferometry of fibrous materials
Nasser A.M. Barakat,A. A. Hamza +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of irradiation on the optical properties of fibers has been investigated using interference microscopes and back-scattering of light waves from fibers, and automatic analysis of interferograms.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effective and reusable oil/water separation membranes based on modified polysulfone electrospun nanofiber mats
M. Obaid,Nasser A.M. Barakat,Nasser A.M. Barakat,Olfat A. Fadali,Moaaed Motlak,Abdulhakim A. Almajid,Khalil Abdelrazek Khalil,Khalil Abdelrazek Khalil +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, a novel effective and reusable membrane for oil-water separation process is introduced based on modification of polysulfone (PSF) electrospun nanofiber mats.
