Small Square Monopole Antenna for UWB Applications With Variable Frequency Band-Notch Function

TL;DR: In this paper, a printed monopole antenna (PMA) for ultrawideband (UWB) applications with variable frequency band-notch characteristic is presented, which consists of a stepped square radiating patch with two U-shaped slots and a notched ground plane with a T-shaped sleeve that provides a wide usable fractional bandwidth of more than 140%.
Journal ArticleDOI

Small Square Monopole Antenna With Enhanced Bandwidth by Using Inverted T-Shaped Slot and Conductor-Backed Plane

TL;DR: In this article, a printed monopole antenna for ultra wideband applications is proposed, which consists of a square radiating patch with an inverted T-shaped slot and a ground plane with inverted t-shaped conductor-backed plane, which provides a wide usable fractional bandwidth of more than 130% (2.91-14.1 GHz).
Journal ArticleDOI

Band-Notched Small Square-Ring Antenna With a Pair of T-Shaped Strips Protruded Inside the Square Ring for UWB Applications

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a novel printed monopole antenna with constant gain over a wide bandwidth for ultra wideband applications with desired notch-band characteristic, which consists of a square-ring radiating patch with a pair of T-shaped strips protruded inside the square ring and a coupled Tshaped strip and a ground plane with a protruded strip, which provides a wide us able fractional bandwidth of more than 130% (3.07-14.6 GHz).
Journal ArticleDOI

Novel Design of Dual Band-Notched Monopole Antenna With Bandwidth Enhancement for UWB Applications

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a novel printed monopole antenna for ultrawideband applications with dual band-notched function, which consists of a square radiating patch with an inverted T-shaped ring slot, surrounded by a C-shaped slot, providing a wide usable fractional bandwidth of more than 125% (2.71-12.06 GHz).
Journal ArticleDOI

Ultra-Wideband Small Rectangular Slot Antenna With Variable Band-Stop Function

TL;DR: In this article, a small, printed rectangular slot antenna for ultra wideband (UWB) applications with dual band-notch function with bandnotch performance was proposed, where an inverted T-shaped conductor backed plane inside the rectangular slot on the other side of the substrate was used to increase the impedance bandwidth of the antenna and achieve UWB coverage.
