Synthesis of pyridine and furan based arylated ketones through palladium catalyst with DFT study of their static and frequency dependent NLO response
Kiran Shehzadi,Ayesha Tariq,Muhammad Zubair,Tariq Mahmood,Naveen Kosar,Idris Karakaya,Nasir Rasool,Komal Rizwan +7 more
TL;DR: A series of pyridine and furan based ketones have been synthesized by Suzuki coupling of 2,6-pyridinedicarbonyl dichloride, furan-2-carbonyl chloride with various aryl boronic acids in existence of catalyst Pd(PPh3)4 and cesium carbonate in presence of toluene at 100 °C as mentioned in this paper .

Journal ArticleDOI
Quantum chemical hydrogenolysis strategy for elimination of heteroatoms in biomass homologous organic compounds based on oxolane and thiolane.
Simplice Koudjina,Wilfried G. Kanhounnon,Gaston A. Kpotin,Affi Sopi Thomas,René Sawadogo,Abderrahmane Semmeq,Naveen Kosar,Michael Badawi,Tariq Mahmood,Guy S. Atohoun +9 more
TL;DR: In this article , quantum chemical studies have been used to analyse the reaction mechanism for the removal of hetero atoms (S and O) as H2O and H2S. Butanol and Butanethiol are obtained as a result of first hydrogenolysis process, and these compounds are converted to butane during second catalytic process while eliminating heteroatoms.
Journal ArticleDOI
Giant NLO response and ultraviolet transparency of superalakalis decorated C6O6Li6 complexes; a DFT perspective
TL;DR: In this paper , some new superalkalis doped C6O6Li6 complexes are introduced, which have remarkable NLO response and high thermodynamic stability, and the properties of these complexes are estimated from first order polarizability and hyperpolarizability parameters.
