TL;DR: A high use of antimicrobials in admitted patients with a considerable proportion of drugs from the 'Watch' category was demonstrated and targets for interventions emerged from the survey were: improving surgical prophylaxis, decreasing double anaerobic cover, initiating culture of sending cultures and de-escalation with targeted therapy.

TL;DR: Evaluating the medication management practices associated with cancer drugs in a tertiary care teaching hospital in north India found that hospital staff should be aware of the potential health risks of handling hazardous drugs and recommended guidelines to prevent occupational exposure.
