Journal ArticleDOI
Electrochemical Synthesis of Carbon Nanodots Directly from Alcohols
Jianhui Deng,Qiujun Lu,Naxiu Mi,Haitao Li,Meiling Liu,Mancai Xu,Liang Tan,Qingji Xie,Youyu Zhang,Shouzhuo Yao +9 more
TL;DR: High-quality C-dots are prepared successfully from different small molecular alcohols, suggesting that this research provides a new, highly universal method for the preparation of fluorescent C-Dots.
Journal ArticleDOI
Water-dispersible silicon dots as a peroxidase mimetic for the highly-sensitive colorimetric detection of glucose
Qiong Chen,Meiling Liu,Jiangna Zhao,Xue Peng,Xiaojiao Chen,Naxiu Mi,Bangda Yin,Haitao Li,Youyu Zhang,Shouzhuo Yao +9 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that photoluminescent Si-dots exhibit intrinsic peroxidase-like activity, and can catalyze the oxidization of 3,3',5,5'-tetramethylbenzidine by H2O2, and produce a color change, which can be used to detect glucose with high sensitivity and selectivity.
Journal ArticleDOI
An ESIPT-based fluorescent probe for highly selective and ratiometric detection of mercury(II) in solution and in cells.
Biao Gu,Liyan Huang,Naxiu Mi,Peng Yin,Youyu Zhang,Xinman Tu,Xubiao Luo,Shenlian Luo,Shouzhuo Yao +8 more
TL;DR: Results indicated that the probe and the proposed method have promising applications for Hg(2+) sensing in biological and environmental sciences.
Journal ArticleDOI
Gold nanoparticle coupled with fluorophore for ultrasensitive detection of protamine and heparin.
Jiangna Zhao,Yinhui Yi,Naxiu Mi,Bangda Yin,Mingjie Wei,Qiong Chen,Haitao Li,Youyu Zhang,Shouzhuo Yao +8 more
TL;DR: A novel label-free fluorescent sensor for ultrasensitive detection of protamine and heparin based on the high quenching ability of gold nanoparticles to the fluorescence of fluorescein is reported.
Journal ArticleDOI
A tetraphenylimidazole-based fluorescent probe for the detection of hydrogen sulfide and its application in living cells.
TL;DR: A novel probe based on the fluorescence off-on strategy prepared to optically detect hydrogen sulfide (H2S) via an excited state intramolecular proton transfer (ESIPT) mechanism shows high sensitivity and excellent selectivity and has potential utility for H2S sensing in biological sciences.
