Journal ArticleDOI
Ultrafast manipulation of antiferromagnetism of NiO
TL;DR: Ultrafast reorientation of the antiferromagnetic order parameter of NiO is triggered by a photoinduced transient modification of the magnetic anisotropy and evidenced by the subsequent interference of the hard- and easy-axis states.
Journal ArticleDOI
Ultrafast magnetization dynamics of antiferromagnetic compounds
Manfred Fiebig,Manfred Fiebig,Nguyen Phuc Duong,Takuya Satoh,Bas B. Van Aken,Kenjiro Miyano,Yasuhide Tomioka,Yoshinori Tokura,Yoshinori Tokura +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, optical second harmonic generation and linear reflection were used to monitor with a temporal resolution of <1 ps the evolution of the AFM order parameter subsequent to an intense optical excitation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Temperature-dependent magnetic properties of yttrium iron garnet nanoparticles prepared by citrate sol-gel
Dao Thi Thuy Nguyet,Nguyen Phuc Duong,Takuya Satoh,Takuya Satoh,Luong Ngoc Anh,Than Duc Hien +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a single phase sample of standard garnet cubic structure was obtained after sintering the gel at 800 °C for 2 h and the hysteresis loop was measured at temperatures between 5 and 560  K and in applied magnetic fields up to 20 kOe.
Journal ArticleDOI
Crystallization and magnetic behavior of nanosized nickel ferrite prepared by citrate precursor method
TL;DR: In this paper, NiFe2O4 nanoparticles have been synthesized by citrate precursor gel formation with subsequent heat treatment and differential thermal and thermogravimetric (DTA/TG) analyses show that the metal citrates decomposed around 230 ◦C followed by crystallization of the ferrite.
Journal ArticleDOI
Key step in the synthesis of ultrafine strontium ferrite powders (SrFe12O19) by sol–gel method
TL;DR: In this paper, the magnetic properties and structure of strontium hexaferrite powders were studied at various ranges of calcination temperature (Tca) (750-900°C), calcination time (3min-2h), Fe/Sr molar ratios (RM) (10.5-12), and pH (1-8).
