Journal ArticleDOI
Exploring an unknown dangerous graph with a constant number of tokens
TL;DR: This paper proves the unexpected negative result that if only a constant number of tokens are available, then Δ + 1 agents are not sufficient, and presents a protocol that allows the exploration of an unknown anonymous dangerous graph using only three tokens and Δ + 2 agents.

Meeting in a Polygon by Anonymous Oblivious Robots
Giuseppe Antonio Di Luna,Paola Flocchini,Nicola Santoro,Giovanni Viglietta,Masafumi Yamashita +4 more
TL;DR: An improved algorithm that optimally solves the Meeting problem with k=2 is given, and oblivious searchers can execute the algorithms as well, encoding information by carefully positioning themselves within the polygon.
Fault Classification in P2P Semantic Mapping
TL;DR: This work provides a classification along the temporal dimension for the different types of faults that could arise in the context of semantic mapping in a P2P network.
Book ChapterDOI
Expressivity of time-varying graphs
TL;DR: It is proved that, when waiting is allowed, the power of the accepting automaton drops drastically from being as powerful as a Turing machine, to becoming that of a Finite-State machine.
Journal ArticleDOI
Forming Sequences of Patterns With Luminous Robots
TL;DR: A complete characterization of the sequences of patterns formable from a given starting configuration has been determined in the ${\mathcal{ OBLOT}}$ model and the characterization is constructive.
