Journal ArticleDOI
Ulnar Artery Occlusion and Severity Markers of Vasculopathy in Systemic Sclerosis: A Multicenter Cross-Sectional Study.
Alain Lescoat,Cécile Yelnik,Guillaume Coiffier,Matthieu Wargny,C. Lamotte,Claire Cazalets,Nicolas Belhomme,Alice Ballerie,Pierre-Yves Hatron,David Launay,Aleth Perdriger,Vincent Sobanski,Eric Hachulla,Patrick Jego +13 more
TL;DR: To evaluate the association of ulnar artery occlusion assessed using Doppler ultrasound (DUS) with the severity markers of systemic sclerosis (SSc), the association between these markers and UAO was evaluated using DUS for the first time.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synovial involvement assessed by power Doppler ultra-sonography in systemic sclerosis: results of a cross-sectional study.
A. Lescoat,Alice Ballerie,Nicolas Belhomme,Claire Cazalets,Marine de Carlan,Catherine Droitcourt,Aleth Perdriger,Patrick Jego,Guillaume Coiffier +8 more
TL;DR: Ulasonographic synovial involvement in patients fulfilling the 2013 ACR/EULAR classification criteria and PDUS may have a part to play in a more accurate and precise description of musculoskeletal manifestations of the disease, especially as the question of a treat-to-target approach is arising for SSc.
Journal ArticleDOI
Role of serum immunoglobulins for predicting sarcoidosis outcome: A cohort study.
Nicolas Belhomme,Stéphane Jouneau,Guillaume Bouzillé,Olivier Decaux,Mathieu Lederlin,S. Guillot,Antoinette Perlat,Patrick Jego,Patrick Jego +8 more
TL;DR: There was no relation between the immunoglobulin level at diagnosis and the evolution of sarcoidosis, and an elevated ACE level and the presence of initial extra-pulmonary involvement were both associated with a more severe course of the disease necessitating a corticosteroid treatment.
Journal ArticleDOI
The nosology of systemic sclerosis: how lessons from the past offer new challenges in reframing an idiopathic rheumatological disorder
A. Lescoat,A. Lescoat,Catherine Cavalin,Rodney Ehrlich,Claire Cazalets,Alice Ballerie,Alice Ballerie,Nicolas Belhomme,Guillaume Coiffier,Marine de Saint Riquier,Paul-André Rosental,Eric Hachulla,Vincent Sobanski,Patrick Jego,Patrick Jego +14 more
TL;DR: How nosological considerations have influenced the authors' understanding of the cause and prognosis of this so-called idiopathic rheumatological disorder is clarified and challenges for the current initiative to develop a new subgrouping of systemic sclerosis are identified.
