Life stage affects prey use with fitness consequences in a zoophytophagous mirid bug

TL;DR: In this article , the authors measured the fitness (survival, longevity and fecundity) of the mirid bug Lygus pratensis fed with bean pod only, bean and Aphis gossypii nymphs, or bean and Helicoverpa armigera eggs, and also conducted focal observations of its foraging behaviour when provided the latter two.
Journal ArticleDOI

Comparative demographics, population projections and egg maturation patterns of four eupelmid egg parasitoids on the factitious host Antherae pernyi.

TL;DR: In this article , the demographic parameters of four important eupelmid egg parasitoids (Anastatus fulloi, A. japonicus, Mesocomys albitarsis and M. trabalae) were evaluated using age-stage two-sex life tables, their population projections as well as egg maturation patterns.
