Journal ArticleDOI

Quasi-solid-state dye sensitized solar cells with 1,3:2,4-di-O-benzylidene-D-sorbitol derivatives as low molecular weight organic gelators

TL;DR: In this article, the authors demonstrate the usefulness of certain DBS derivatives as efficient gelators to form thermoreversible gels in electrolyte solutions which are of particular interest for solar cell applications.
Journal ArticleDOI

An efficient organogelator for ionic liquids to prepare stable quasi-solid-state dye-sensitized solar cells

TL;DR: In this paper, a low molecular weight amphiphilic organogelator capable of forming intermolecular hydrogen bonds and well-organized supramolecular structures was found to efficiently gel low-viscosity binary mixtures of ionic liquids at low concentrations.
Journal ArticleDOI

Additives to improve the electret properties of isotactic polypropylene

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the relationship between charge storage properties and additive concentration and found that benzene-1,3,5-tricarboxylic acid-(N-cyclohexyl)-trisamide can improve the charge storage performance of isotactic polypropylene (i-PP).
Journal ArticleDOI

Influence of Chemical Structure and Solubility of Bisamide Additives on the Nucleation of Isotactic Polypropylene and the Improvement of Its Charge Storage Properties

TL;DR: A comparative study on the influence of chemical structure and solubility of a series of low-molecular-weight 1,4-phenylene−bisamides in isotactic polypropylene (i-PP) was conducted to explore their performance as nucleating agents and electret additives as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Charge storage behavior of isotropic and biaxially- oriented polypropylene films containing α- and β- nucleating agents

TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of the crystal modification (α and β) of isotactic polypropylene (i-PP) films on the resulting electret properties is presented, and two commercial nucleating agents, sodium 2,2′-methylene-bis(4,6-di-tert-butylphenyl)-phosphate (NA11) and N,N′-dicyclo-hexyl-2,6naphthalene-dicarboxamide (NU100), were employed in this investigation.
