Recent advances in transition-metal catalyzed reactions using molecular oxygen as the oxidant
TL;DR: This critical review introduces the recent advances over the past 5 years in transition-metal catalyzed reactions using molecular oxygen as the oxidant and highlights the scope and limitations of these oxidation reactions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Recent advances in copper-catalyzed dehydrogenative functionalization via a single electron transfer (SET) process.
TL;DR: This tutorial review summarizes the recent advances in the copper-catalyzed dehydrogenative functionalization via a single electron transfer (SET) process achieving C-C, C-N,C-O, c-halogen atoms, N-P, and N-N bond formation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Recent Advances in Transition-Metal-Catalyzed Functionalization of Unstrained Carbon–Carbon Bonds
Journal ArticleDOI
Dioxygen Activation under Ambient Conditions: Cu-Catalyzed Oxidative Amidation−Diketonization of Terminal Alkynes Leading to α-Ketoamides
Chun Zhang,Ning Jiao +1 more
TL;DR: This chemistry offers a valuable mechanistic insight into this novel Cu catalysis via a radical process where O(2) not only participates as the ideal oxidant but also undergoes dioxygen activation under ambient conditions in this transformation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Indoles from simple anilines and alkynes: palladium-catalyzed C-H activation using dioxygen as the oxidant.
TL;DR: A palladium-catalyzed approach to indoles using the title reaction was achieved and both N-nonsubstituted and N-alkyl monosubst ituted anilines can be successfully transformed into the corresponding indoles by this method.
