Narrow-linewidth distributed feedback semiconductor laser and preparation method thereof
Jiazheng Sun,Borui Xu,Wenhui Sun,Xia Shijun,Haiqing Yuan,Ninghua Zhu,Ban Dechao,Liu Zeqiu,Zhang Chenwei,Xu Changda +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a distributed feedback semiconductor laser which sequentially comprises an N-surface electrode layer, a substrate layer, buffer layer, lower waveguide layer, an active layer and an upper waveguide structure in the vertical direction are used for jointly feeding back mode selection.
Journal ArticleDOI
Simple method for microwave photonic temperature interrogation with high resolution and sensitivity.
Wei Liu,Lu’ni Wang,Tengfei Hao,Xiaoyu Chen,Mengyuan Guan,Fangping Li,Guang yi Li,Ming Li,Ninghua Zhu +8 more
TL;DR: In this article , a microwave photonic temperature interrogation system with high resolution and sensitivity based on temperature-to-time mapping with a simple structure is proposed, and the temperature information is mapped to the time interval change of the output pulses by filtering the bidirectional chirped optical signal using the transmission spectrum of a Fabry-Perot filter.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
A single-passband microwave photonic filter with sub-MHz bandwidth
Huashun Wen,Ninghua Zhu,Ming Li +2 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a single-passband microwave photonic filter with 3 dB bandwidth of 650 kHz, center frequency drift of ± 50 kHz over spectral range of 2-18 GHz is experimentally demonstrated based on a Brillouin dynamic grating.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Microwave photonics phase shifter with small radio-frequency power variation based on Coupling-modulated Microring Resonators
TL;DR: In this article, an on-chip microwave phase shifter based on Coupling-modulated Microring Resonators (CMR) is proposed and experimentally demonstrated, which is a structure that connected the transmission port and upload port of the normal ring resonator.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Optical frequency comb generator based on interference among parallel phase modulators
TL;DR: In this paper, an optical frequency comb (OFC) generator for ultra-flat and multiple frequency-spaced OFC was proposed, where only single-stage parallel modulators are used.
