Experimental study of bubbly swirling flow in a vertical tube using ultrasonic velocity profiler (UVP) and wire mesh sensor (WMS)

TL;DR: In this article, the experimental results reveal that the average bubble velocity is fairly uniform along the radial position and void fraction increases in the near wall region, this is mainly due to drift velocity which is affected by centrifugal force.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurements of single-phase and two-phase flows in a vertical pipe using ultrasonic pulse doppler method and ultrasonic time-domain cross-correlation method

TL;DR: In this paper, a multi-wave ultrasonic transducer (multi-wave TDX) was used for simultaneous measurement of single-phase and two-phase flow in a vertical pipe.

Flow rate measurement device and flow rate measurement method

TL;DR: A flow rate measurement device is configured to measure a flow rate of a gas flowing inside of a pipeline, and includes an ultrasonic transducer installed so as to be in contact with the pipeline as mentioned in this paper.
