Journal ArticleDOI
Preparation and band gap energies of ZnO nanotubes, nanorods and spherical nanostructures
Roshidah Rusdi,Azilah Abd Rahman,Nor Sabirin Mohamed,Norashikin Kamarudin,Norlida Kamarulzaman +4 more
TL;DR: In this paper, it was found that the ZnO nanotubes grew in the direction of the c-axis and the lattice parameter was smaller than conventional micron sized materials.
Journal ArticleDOI
Growth mechanisms of MgO nanocrystals via a sol-gel synthesis using different complexing agents.
Mohd Sufri Mastuli,Norlida Kamarulzaman,Mohd Azizi Nawawi,Annie Maria Mahat,Roshidah Rusdi,Norashikin Kamarudin +5 more
TL;DR: It is found that the thermal profiles of the precursors can reveal the effects of crystal growth during thermal annealing and the crystallite formation routes are proposed to be via linear and branched polymer networks due to the different structures of the complexing agents.
Journal ArticleDOI
Investigation of cell parameters, microstructures and electrochemical behaviour of LiMn2O4 normal and nano powders
Norlida Kamarulzaman,Raja Mohamad Fairuz R. Mohamad Yusoff,Norashikin Kamarudin,Norazuwana Shaari,N.A. Abdul Aziz,M. A. Bustam,N. Blagojevic,M.M. Elcombe,MG Blackford,Maxim Avdeev,Abdul Kariem Arof +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a simple way of preparing LiMn 2 O 4 nano powders using the high-energy ball milling method is presented, which is carefully controlled to avoid unwanted chemical reactions that may change the stoichiometry of the material.
Journal ArticleDOI
Band Gap Energies of Magnesium Oxide Nanomaterials Synthesized by the Sol-Gel Method
TL;DR: In this paper, the band gap energies of magnesium oxide (MgO) precursors were calcined at a temperature of 600 °C for 24 hours and 48 hours, respectively.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Issues, challenges and the way forward for charitable organizations in Malaysia
TL;DR: In this article, the issues concerning ethics, governance and regulatory systems of charitable organizations in Malaysia, highlights the key challenges in managing the organizations, and suggests a better approach that needs to be adopted by the charitable organisations in Malaysia to eradicate the bad practices that can lead to fraud and mismanagement.
