Journal ArticleDOI

Voltage-dependent anion-selective channel (VDAC) interacts with the dynein light chain Tctex1 and the heat-shock protein PBP74.

TL;DR: The identified proteins are known to be involved in the transport or processing of proteins, and represent additional evidence of membrane-associated trafficking of the voltage-dependent anion-selective channel 1.
Journal ArticleDOI

Structural relationship of an apolipoprotein (a) phenotype (570 kDa) to plasminogen: homologous kringle domains are linked by carbohydrate-rich regions.

TL;DR: In this paper, six allelic forms of apolipoprotein (a) were detected by immunoblot analysis and the N-terminus of apo(a) was highly homologous to the start of the kringle 4 domain from human plasminogen.
Journal ArticleDOI

Purification and characterization of two putative HLA class II associated proteins: PHAPI and PHAPII.

TL;DR: It is speculated that PHAPI and PHAPII are involved in the generation of intracellular signalling events that lead to regulation of transcriptional activity after binding of a ligand to HLA class II molecules.
Journal ArticleDOI

Human Protein NEFA, a Novel DNA Binding / EF-Hand / Leucine Zipper Protein. Molecular Cloning and Sequence Analysis of the cDNA, Isolation and Characterization of the Protein.

TL;DR: The cDNA libraries constructed from the human acute lymphoblastic leukemia cell line KM3 in the expression vector lambda gt11, were screened with the anti-CALLA mAb (monoclonal antibody) J5 and the mature protein corresponding to the cDNA was designated NEFA: DNA binding/EF-hand/acidic amino acid rich region.
