Journal ArticleDOI
New type of vortex pinning structure effective at very high magnetic fields.
Miryala Muralidhar,Naomichi Sakai,Noriko Chikumoto,Milos Jirsa,Takato Machi,Masato Nishiyama,Y. Wu,Masato Murakami +7 more
TL;DR: It is believed that the new pinning medium observed in a melt-processed NEG-123 matrix enables one to significantly broaden the limits for high-field applications and correlates well with the significant enhancement of pinning at high fields.
Journal ArticleDOI
Flux-creep crossover and relaxation over surface barriers in Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8 crystals.
Noriko Chikumoto,Noriko Chikumoto,Noriko Chikumoto,Marcin Konczykowski,Marcin Konczykowski,Marcin Konczykowski,N. Motohira,N. Motohira,N. Motohira,A. P. Malozemoff,A. P. Malozemoff,A. P. Malozemoff +11 more
TL;DR: Flux creep in Bi 2 Sr 2 CaCu 2 O 8 crystals exhibits two different regimes as a function of time, as well as of temperature and magnetic field.
Journal ArticleDOI
Anisotropic superconducting properties of MgB2 single crystals probed by in-plane electrical transport measurements
Yu. Eltsev,Stephen Lee,K. Nakao,Noriko Chikumoto,Setsuko Tajima,N. Koshizuka,Masato Murakami +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the electronic anisotropy of the MgB 2 superconductor was studied using the in-plane resistivity measurements in the magnetic field applied perpendicular and parallel to Mg and B planes of Mg b 2 single crystals.
Journal ArticleDOI
Nature of the Irreversibility Line in Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8
Eli Zeldov,D. Majer,Marcin Konczykowski,A. I. Larkin,A. I. Larkin,V. M. Vinokur,Vadim B. Geshkenbein,Vadim B. Geshkenbein,Noriko Chikumoto,Hadas Shtrikman +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, the local vortex dynamics in Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8 single crystals was studied using microscopic GaAs/AlGaAs Hall-sensor arrays.
Journal ArticleDOI
Abrupt change of josephson plasma frequency at the phase boundary of the bragg glass in Bi(2)Sr(2)CaCu(2)O(8+delta)
TL;DR: The measurements revealed distinct features in the T and H dependencies of the plasma frequency omega(pl) for each of these three vortex phases, including the first order nature of the Bragg-to-vortex glass transition.
