Production of biodiesel under supercritical conditions: State of the art and bibliometric analysis

TL;DR: In this article, a scientometric study on biodiesel production research under supercritical conditions from 2001 to 2019, based on the Web of Science© database, was presented, and the parameters considered were: (i) publication type, language and output characteristics, (ii) Lotka's Law, Price's index and h-index, (iii) authors, countries and institutions collaboration analysis, (iv) publication performance by authors, journals, institutions and countries and (v) author keywords, single title words and keywords plus analysis.
Journal ArticleDOI

Optimization of non-catalytic transesterification of tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum) seed oil using supercritical methanol to biodiesel production

TL;DR: In this article, a non-catalytic supercritical methanolysis using response surface methodology (RSM) was used to optimize the biodiesel production from tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum) seed oil.
Journal ArticleDOI

Approach to biodiesel production from microalgae under supercritical conditions by the PRISMA method

TL;DR: In this paper, a systematic review using the PRISMA methodology analyzing the status of this research topic and identifying future research strategies is presented, which is the first specific overview on the production of biodiesel from microalgae under supercritical conditions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Domestic wastewaters reuse reclaimed by an improved horizontal subsurface-flow constructed wetland: A case study in the southeast of Spain.

TL;DR: The improved HF-CW achieved similar or better percentage abatements than those reported using some hybrid systems, and met the Spanish standards for reclaimed wastewater reuse due to the high evapotranspiration during the summer.
Journal ArticleDOI

Advances on kinetics and thermodynamics of non-catalytic supercritical methanol transesterification of some vegetable oils to biodiesel

TL;DR: In this article, the authors evaluated the supercritical methanol transesterification reaction of castor, jatropha, pongamia, tobacco, soybean and jojoba oils to biodiesel production.
