Orbital torque in magnetic bilayers (Conference Presentation)

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors examine the current-induced spin-orbit torques in various ferromagnet/heavy metal bilayers and reveal the presence of the contribution from the orbital Hall effect in the heavy metal.
Journal ArticleDOI

Observation of the Nernst effect in a GeTe/NiFe structure

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors separated the thermal effect from the spin-orbit torque in GeTe/NiFe bilayers and extracted the noticeable thermal-related terms by exploiting the different external magnetic field dependence of these terms.
Journal ArticleDOI

Spin current driven by ultrafast magnetization of FeRh

TL;DR: In this paper , the role of electron-carried spin current in laser-induced ultrafast demagnetization of FeRh was investigated and a strong correlation between spin current and the net magnetization change rate was found even though the spin filter effect is negligible in this opposite process.
