Genome-wide suppressor screen identifies USP35/USP38 as therapeutic candidates for ciliopathies
I-Chun Tsai,Kevin A. Adams,Joyce A. Tzeng,Omar Shennib,Perciliz L. Tan,Perciliz L. Tan,Nicholas Katsanis,Nicholas Katsanis,Nicholas Katsanis +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, a genome-wide RNAi (RNA interference) screen was performed to identify genetic suppressors of BBS4, one of the genes mutated in Bardet-Biedl syndrome (BBS).
Journal ArticleDOI
The p190 RhoGAPs, ARHGAP35, and ARHGAP5 are implicated in GnRH neuronal development: Evidence from patients with idiopathic hypogonadotropic hypogonadism, zebrafish, and in vitro GAP activity assay.

TL;DR: ARSGAP35 is identified as a new autosomal dominant genetic driver for IHH and ARHGAP5 as a candidate gene for I HH, and observations suggest a novel role for the p190 RhoGAP proteins in GnRH neuronal development and integrity.
