The Thermodynamic Properties of the f-Elements and their Compounds. Part 2. The Lanthanide and Actinide Oxides
Rudy J. M. Konings,Ondrej Beneš,Attila Kovács,Dario Manara,David Sedmidubský,Lev Gorokhov,V. S. Iorish,V.S. Yungman,E. Shenyavskaya,E. L. Osina +9 more
TL;DR: A comprehensive review of the thermodynamic properties of the oxide compounds of the lanthanide and actinide elements is presented in this article, where the available literature data for the solid, liquid, and gaseous state have been analyzed and recommended values are presented.
Journal ArticleDOI
The Thermodynamic Properties of the f-Elements and Their Compounds. I. The Lanthanide and Actinide Metals
Rudy J. M. Konings,Ondrej Beneš +1 more
TL;DR: A critical review of the thermodynamic properties of the lanthanide and actinide elements is presented in this paper, where the available literature data for the solid, liquid, and gaseous state have been collected and recommended values are presented.
Journal ArticleDOI
Properties of the high burnup structure in nuclear light water reactor fuel
Thierry Wiss,Vincenzo V. Rondinella,Rudy J. M. Konings,D. Staicu,D. Papaioannou,S. Bremier,P. Pöml,Ondrej Beneš,Jean-Yves Colle,Paul Van Uffelen,A. Schubert,Fabiola Cappia,Mara Marchetti,D. Pizzocri,Fabian Jatuff,W. Goll,T. Sonoda,Akihiro Sasahara,S. Kitajima,Motoyasu Kinoshita +19 more
TL;DR: In this article, a synthesis of the main findings from extensive studies performed at JRC-Karlsruhe during the last 25 years to determine properties and behaviour of the HBS is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI
An original approach for Raman spectroscopy analysis of radioactive materials and its application to americium‐containing samples
Mohamed Naji,Jean-Yves Colle,Ondrej Beneš,Mark Sierig,Jouni Rautio,Patrick Lajarge,Dario Manara +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, an approach for micro-Raman measurements of highly radioactive samples is presented, where no single part of the Raman equipment is in direct contact with the radioactive sample, as the sample is sealed in an alpha-tight capsule.
Journal ArticleDOI
On the fluorination of plutonium dioxide by ammonium hydrogen fluoride
TL;DR: In this article, a method for synthesis of PuF 3 from PuO 2 by fluorination using NH 4 HF 2 was investigated, and the results showed that the proposed method is well suited for the PuF3 preparation in a sufficient purity and with a good reaction yield.
