Journal ArticleDOI
An integrated self-healable electronic skin system fabricated via dynamic reconstruction of a nanostructured conducting network.
Dong Hee Son,Jiheong Kang,Orestis Vardoulis,Yeongin Kim,Naoji Matsuhisa,Jin Young Oh,Jin Young Oh,John W. F. To,Jaewan Mun,Toru Katsumata,Toru Katsumata,Yuxin Liu,Allister F. McGuire,Marta Krason,Francisco Molina-Lopez,Jooyeun Ham,Ulrike Kraft,Yeongjun Lee,Youngjun Yun,Jeffrey B.-H. Tok,Zhenan Bao +20 more
TL;DR: Self-reconstruction of conducting nanostructures assisted by a dynamically crosslinked polymer network enables the fabrication of autonomous self-healable and stretchable multi-component electronic skin, paving the way for future robust electronics.
Journal ArticleDOI
A hierarchically patterned, bioinspired e-skin able to detect the direction of applied pressure for robotics.
Clementine M. Boutry,Marc Negre,Mikael Jorda,Orestis Vardoulis,Alex Chortos,Oussama Khatib,Zhenan Bao +6 more
TL;DR: A biomimetic soft electronic skin that is composed of an array of capacitors and capable of measuring and discriminating in real time both normal and tangential forces is reported, enabled by a three-dimensional structure that mimics the interlocked dermis-epidermis interface in human skin.
Journal ArticleDOI
A Highly Stretchable and Self‐Healing Supramolecular Elastomer Based on Sliding Crosslinks and Hydrogen Bonds
Ruichun Du,Zhicheng Xu,Cong Zhu,Yuanwen Jiang,Hongping Yan,Hung-Chin Wu,Orestis Vardoulis,Yifeng Cai,Xiangyang Zhu,Zhenan Bao,Qiuhong Zhang,Xudong Jia +11 more
Journal ArticleDOI
3D simulation of the aqueous flow in the human eye.
Adan Villamarin,Sylvain Roy,Reda Hasballa,Orestis Vardoulis,Philippe Reymond,Nikolaos Stergiopulos +5 more
TL;DR: The goal was to provide a 3D CFD model of the eye based on the anatomy of a real human eye that would serve for future evaluation of new glaucoma surgical techniques involving, for example, GDD.
Journal ArticleDOI
Validation of a novel and existing algorithms for the estimation of pulse transit time: advancing the accuracy in pulse wave velocity measurement.
TL;DR: This work aimed to validate and compare the most commonly used "foot-to-foot" algorithms, namely, the " diastole-minimum," "tangential," "maximum first derivative," and "maximum second derivative" methods, and proposed a new "diastoles-patching" method aiming to increase the accuracy and precision in PWV measurements.
