Journal ArticleDOI

Fission characteristics of the composite system 32S + 50Ti: (II). Energy and angular dependence

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors measured the angular distributions, mass distributions and excitation functions for the heavy fragments 35 ≦ A ≦ 60 produced in the bombardment of 50 Ti by 32 S at beam energies between 121 and 166 MeV.
Journal ArticleDOI

An approximate treatment of recoil effects in heavy ion transfer reactions

TL;DR: In this article, a DWBA formalism is developed that allows for recoil and finite range effects in transfer reactions between heavy ions under the assumption of strong absorption and with a local momentum approximation.
Book ChapterDOI

Elastic scattering of vector polarized 7Li on 58Ni

TL;DR: In this article, the elastic scattering of 6Li from 4He has been investigated using the polarized 6Li beam of the Heidelberg EN-tandem and the experiment has been performed at 22.8 MeV beam energy and scattering angles of 35 < θcm < 150°.
Journal ArticleDOI

On The semiclassical interpretation of heavy ion reactions

TL;DR: In this article, the semiclassical interpretation of heavy ion reactions is discussed, and it is found that deflection to negative angles is inconsistent with optical model calculations due to the uncertainty principle trajectories are not well defined if the reaction is localized at the nuclear surface.
