Micro/minifrac test procedures and interpretation for in situ stress determination

TL;DR: In this article, a model is presented for pressure decline curve analysis, focussing on the short post shut-in times relevant to micro- and minifrac tests, which enables the post-shut-in pressure profile before and after fracture closure to be plotted as a straight line, the different slopes giving a well-defined fracture closure pressure (FCP), which provides a direct measure of the magnitude of the in situ minimum total stress.

Horizontal wellbore stability and sand production in weakly consolidated sandstones

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present the results of dedicated polyaxial cell laboratory experiments addressing the issue of long-term stability of horizontal wellbore completions with uncemented liners in weakly consolidated to unconsolidated sandstone formations.
