Synthesis of nitrogen heterocycles underlain by application of 3-(4-Acetyl[phenyl)-2H-coumarin

TL;DR: In this article, 3.4-Acetylphenyl)-2H-chromen-2-one was obtained from 4-acetylphenyldiazonium chloride in the conditions of Meerwein reaction.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and Antimicrobial Activity of 3-Phenyl-1-Methylquinolin-2-One Derivatives

TL;DR: A series of quaternary salts were obtained by reacting 3-(4-bromoacetylphenyl)-1-methylquinolin-2(1H)-one with Py, 4-methylpyridine, quinoline, benzo[f]quinoline, and triphenylphosphine as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of nitrogen-containing heterocycles on the basis of 3-(4-acetylphenyl)-1-methylquinolin-2(1 H )-one

TL;DR: The Meerwein reaction of 1-methylquinolin-2(1H)-one with 4-acetylbenzenediazonium chloride gave 3-(4-βromoacetylphenyl)-1-miquelin-2.1H-one which was brominated to 3-[4-(2-bromometyl)phenyl]-1-methylquinoline-2 (1H]-one by condensation with thiosemicarbazide and aromatic aldehydes as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

4-(4-Acethylphenyl)-3-hydroxycoumarin in the Synthesis of Nitrogen-containing Heterocycles with a Neoflavonoid Moiety

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that 4-(4-acetylphenyl)- and 4-(2-bromoacetyl)phenyl]-3-hydroxy-2H-chromen-2-ones can be used in three-component reactions to form a thiazole ring.
Journal ArticleDOI

New biscyanine dye based on 1-{2-oxo-2-[4-(2-oxo-2H-chromen-3-yl)phenyl]ethyl}-4-methylpyridinium bromide. Electron transitions and electronic spectra

TL;DR: In this article, a biscyanine dye, 4-{2]-4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]ethenyl, has been prepared via condensation of 4-dimthylaminobenzaldehyde with 4-methyl-1-{ 2-oxo-2H-chromen-3-yl]ethylpyridinium bromide, which has been synthesized via the Meerwein reaction of coumarin with 4acetylphenyldiazonium chloride with subsequent bromination and quaternization of the
