Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, characterisation and catalytic applications of sol–gel derived silica–phosphotungstic acid composites

TL;DR: In this paper, a comprehensive study on the effect of HPWA loading on the acidity has been performed using pyridine adsorption, NH3 TPD and a catalytic test reaction.
Journal ArticleDOI

29Si and 13C MAS-NMR characterization of surface modification of micelle-templated silicas during the grafting of organic moieties and end-capping

TL;DR: In this paper, the surface of micelle-templated silicas (MTS) was functionalized by silylation with 3-chloropropyltriethoxysilane in anhydrous toluene.

29Si and 13C MAS-NMR characterization of surface modification of micelle-templated silicas during the grafling of organic moieties and end-capping.

TL;DR: In this article, the surface of micelle-templated silicas (MTS) was functionalized by silylation with 3-chloropropyltriethoxysilane in anhydrous toluene.
Journal ArticleDOI

Solid state MAS NMR investigation of Y-type zeolites reacted with chlorofluorocarbons

TL;DR: In this article, 27Al NMR spectra were used to investigate Y-type zeolites before and after reaction with CFCs (CCl4, CCl3F, CCL2F2, CF4) and a HCFC (CHClF2) and showed the existence of an intermediate aluminum species (distorted tetrahedral or pentacoordinated) at about 30ppm.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and characterization of Fe- and (Fe,Al )-MCM-22 zeolites

TL;DR: In this article, the synthesis of Fe-MCM-22 zeolite is reported for the first time and its structure and characteristics are similar to those of the MCM-21 zeolites.
