Journal ArticleDOI

The influence of particle size on the coercivity of sintered NdFeB magnets

TL;DR: In this article, the deterioration of coercivity was associated with a certain mean grain size D cr of the sintered material, which was shifted to larger values of JHc, which did not depend on the milling-ball diameter.
Journal ArticleDOI

Comparison of melt-spun Nd4Fe77B19 with neodymium-rich isotropic permanent magnets

TL;DR: In this article, the initial magnetization and demagnetization data for three types of isotropic Nd2Fe14B containing permanent magnet materials were reported for annealed melt-spun Nd4Fe77B19, melt-spin Nd14Fe81B5, and sintered Nd16Fe78B6.
Journal ArticleDOI

Magnetization curves of thermal, ac-field and dc-field demagnetized NdFeB magnets

TL;DR: The initial susceptibility χ of thermally demagnetized magnets is much higher than that of field demagnetic magnetization as discussed by the authors, and the dependence of coercivity on maximum applied field is explained by the influence of spatial field fluctuations on magnetization change.
Journal ArticleDOI

Deviations from Wohlfarth's remanence relationship in NdFeB magnets

TL;DR: An analysis of Wohlfarth's remanence relationship is used to clarify the nature of magnetization processes in different types of permanent magnets based on the Nd 2 Fe 14 B phase as discussed by the authors.
