Journal ArticleDOI

Biosynthesis and characterization of Ti/Ni bimetallic nanoparticles

TL;DR: In this paper, small particles of Ti/Ni have been synthesized by a bioreduction method and the controlling parameter was the pH of the solution where they were grown in.
Journal ArticleDOI

Structural studies of xenon and krypton solid monolayers on graphite using transmission electron diffraction

TL;DR: In this paper, lattice parameter, epitaxial orientation and diffraction intensity measurements for Xe and Kr monolayers on graphite were obtained by transmission high energy electron diffraction (THEED).
Journal ArticleDOI

Misfit dislocations and lattice parameters of adsorbed xenon and krypton monolayers on graphite

TL;DR: In this paper, a model of these layers is developed which includes the effects of misfit dislocations between the monolayer and the graphite, which explain the epitaxial orientation of the unlocalised layer and account for the order of magnitude of diffraction intensities from this layer.
Journal ArticleDOI

Structural studies on vacuum evaporated ZnSe/p-Si Schottky diodes

TL;DR: In this article, the structural properties of ZnSe/Si heterostructures were investigated by Rutherford backscattering spectrometry (RBS), X-ray diffraction (XRD), optical, I-V, C-V analysis, high-resolution electron microscopy (HREM) and ab initio quantum mechanics calculations.
Journal ArticleDOI

Decagonal and hexagonal structures in small gold particles

TL;DR: In this paper, the study of gold particles using HREM and image processing is reported, including penta-twinned particles which show twin boundaries that do not join along a common point.
