Video primacy—A further look

TL;DR: The authors reviewed the literature on the complex question of the relative importance of the verbal, visual and vocal channels in various types of judgments and made an attempt to assess the important variables which affect the way the various channels are used by decoders, including whether deception is involved or expected, whether the message is discrepant, the particular judgment being made and the dimension on which the stimulus varies, the sex of the encoder and the decoder, the relationship between them, and the age of the decoder.

Children's Perceptions of Their Sibling Relationships During Parental Separation and Divorce

TL;DR: The authors explored whether parental separation and divorce influence children's experiences of the sibling relationship and found that adolescents from separating and divorced families were significantly more likely than children from continuously married (or intact) families to have affect-intense sibling relationships.

Relationship satisfaction, attachment, and nonverbal accuracy in early marriage

TL;DR: This article explored the relation between nonverbal accuracy, relationship satisfaction, and adult attachment in early marriage and found evidence of increased communication awareness over time for encoders, particularly in terms of the accuracy with which they predicted their spouses' decoding.
