Journal ArticleDOI

Hypoxia stimulates endothelial cell angiotensin-converting enzyme antigen synthesis.

TL;DR: There was a significant time-dependent increase in endothelial cell ACE antigen synthesis without a concomitant change in either cell number or total trichloroacetic (TCA)-precipitable protein in hypoxic cells compared with normoxic controls, which suggests that an inactive form of ACE is synthesized by cultured pulmonary artery endothelial cells under hypoxic conditions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Protective Effects of Epigallocatechin Gallate for Male Sexual Dysfunction in Streptozotocin-Induced Diabetic Rats

TL;DR: Data showed that diabetic rats who had diminished sexual functions demonstrated significantly increased latencies in mount, intromission, and ejaculation, as well as significant decreases in frequencies of intromissions and ejaculations, compared to non-diabetic controls, indicating sexual function recovery.
