Journal ArticleDOI
Sorption of norfloxacin, sulfamerazine and oxytetracycline by KOH-modified biochar under single and ternary systems.
Jiwei Luo,Jiwei Luo,Xue Li,Chengjun Ge,Chengjun Ge,Karin Müller,Huamei Yu,Peng Huang,Jiatong Li,Daniel C.W. Tsang,Nanthi Bolan,Jörg Rinklebe,Hailong Wang +12 more
TL;DR: This research finding will guide the development of treatment procedures for water polluted by multiple antibiotics by improving sorption efficiency and kinetics.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of metal ions and pH on ofloxacin sorption to cassava residue-derived biochar
Peng Huang,Chengjun Ge,Chengjun Ge,Dan Feng,Huamei Yu,Jiwei Luo,Jiatong Li,P. J. Strong,Ajit K. Sarmah,Nanthi Bolan,Hailong Wang,Hailong Wang +11 more
TL;DR: Electrostatic interactions, cationic exchange, metal bridging and micropore filling could be the main sorption mechanism between OFL and biochars and indicated that cassava residue can be converted into biochar that are effective adsorbents for removing OFL from aqueous solution.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of cassava waste biochar on sorption and release behavior of atrazine in soil.
TL;DR: Results indicate that the addition of 0.1%-5% CW in L, promoted AT adsorption by 1.7- to 36-fold as compared with the natural soil control, after 60 days.

Ultralow temperature modification method for improving adsorption capacity of biomass charcoal for removing norfloxacin in water and biomass charcoal prepared with ultralow temperature modification method
TL;DR: In this paper, an ultralow temperature modification method for improving the adsorption capacity of biomass charcoal for removing norfloxacin in water and the biomass charcoal prepared with the Ultralow Temperature modification method.
