Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, characterization and anti-cancer studies of Mn(II), Cu(II), Zn(II) and Pt(II) dithiocarbamate complexes - crystal structures of the Cu(II) and Pt (II) complexes

TL;DR: In this paper, the molecular structures of 2-phenolyldithiocarbamate complexes were characterized by elemental analyses and spectroscopic techniques, showing that the complexes exhibited significant toxicity against the cancer cell lines, with IC50 values of less than 50 µM after 48h of exposure.
Journal ArticleDOI

Group 12 dithiocarbamate complexes: Synthesis, characterization, and X-ray crystal structures of Zn(II) and Hg(II) complexes and their use as precursors for metal sulfide nanoparticles

TL;DR: In this paper, Zn(II, Cd(II), and Hg(II) dithiocarbamate complexes were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, thermogravimetric analysis, UV-Vis, FTIR, and 1H- and 13C-NMR spectroscopy.
Journal ArticleDOI

Metal Complexes of Diisopropylthiourea: Synthesis, Characterization and Antibacterial Studies

TL;DR: The complexes showed varied antibacterial activities and their minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs) were determined.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ruthenium(III) Complexes of Heterocyclic Tridentate (ONN) Schiff Base: Synthesis, Characterization and its Biological Properties as an Antiradical and Antiproliferative Agent

TL;DR: The current work reports the synthesis, spectroscopic studies, antiradical and antiproliferative properties of four ruthenium(III) complexes of heterocyclic tridentate Schiff base bearing a simple 2′,4′-dihydroxyacetophenone functionality and ethylenediamine as the bridging ligand with RCHO moiety.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, spectral and thermal studies of 2,2′-bipyridyl adducts of bis(N-alkyl-N-phenyldithiocarbamato)zinc(II)

TL;DR: In this article, three Zn(II) adducts of N-alkyl-N-phenyl dithiocarbamate with 2,2′-bipyridine have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis and spectroscopic techniques.
