Distinct drivers of two size fractions of operationally dissolved iron in a temperate river
TL;DR: In this article , the downstream drivers, concentrations, and fluxes of riverine dissolved iron across season and hydrologic regime at the freshwater Connecticut River mainstem, which was sampled bi-weekly for 2 yrs.

Multi-scale observations of mangrove blue carbon fluxes; the NASA Carbon Monitoring System BlueFlux field campaign
B. Poulter,Frannie Adams,Cibele Amaral,Abigail Cohen Barenblitt,Anthony Campbell,Sean P. Charles,Rosa Maria Roman-Cuesta,Rocco D’Ascanio,Erin R. Delaria,Cheryl L. Doughty,Temilola Fatoyinbo,Jonathan Gewirtzman,Thomas F. Hanisco,Moshema Hull,Stephan R. Kawa,Reem A. Hannun,David Lagomasino,Leslie R. Lait,Sparkle L. Malone,Paul Newman,Peter A. Raymond,Judith A. Rosentreter,Nathan Thomas,Glenn M. Wolfe,Lin Xiong,Qing Ying,Zhen Zhang +26 more
TL;DR: The BlueFlux field campaign is supported by NASA's Carbon Monitoring System (CMS) and will develop prototype blue carbon products to inform coastal carbon management as mentioned in this paper , which can provide increased confidence in regional greenhouse-gas accounting, contribute to process-understanding, and help inform restoration and conservation efforts in the context of climate mitigation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Editorial: Carbon cycling in aquatic critical zones
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors proposed a model for deep ocean multispectral and Earth system, which is based on the concept of the Deep Ocean Multispheres and Earth System (DOME).

Synthesis, homogenisation and regionalisation of inland water greenhouse gas budget estimates for the RECCAP2 initiative
Taylor Maavara,Ronny Lauerwald,David Bastviken,Alessandra Marzadri,George H. Allen,Bridget R. Deemer,Bernhard Lehner,Peter A. Raymond,Peirong Lin,Lishan Ran +9 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors synthesize existing estimates of GHG emissions from streams, rivers, lakes and reservoirs, and homogenize them with regard to underlying global maps of inland water surface areas and the effects of seasonal ice cover.
