Assessing risk of bias in prevalence studies: modification of an existing tool and evidence of interrater agreement

TL;DR: Raters found the tool easy to use, and there was high interrater agreement: overall agreement was 91% and the Kappa statistic was 0.82, which was almost perfect for the individual items on the tool and moderate for the summary assessment.

TL;DR: Among patients with E coli or K pneumoniae bloodstream infection and ceftriaxone resistance, definitive treatment with piperacillin-tazobactam compared with meropenem did not result in a noninferior 30-day mortality, and findings do not support use of piperACillin- tazobactsam in this setting.

Sunscreen and Prevention of Skin Aging A Randomized Trial

TL;DR: Regular sunscreen use retards skin aging in healthy, middle-aged men and women and no overall effect of β-carotene on skin aging was identified, and further study is required to definitively exclude potential benefit or potential harm.
