Journal ArticleDOI
Behavior of high-energy-milling-activated eggshells during thermal treatment
TL;DR: In this paper, the effective high-energy milling (HEM) treatment and utilization of chicken eggshells (ES) as a bio-waste waste have been investigated in environmental and economic interest.
Journal ArticleDOI
Mechanochemical Synthesis and Characterization of CuInS₂/ZnS Nanocrystals.
TL;DR: In this study, CuInS2/ZnS nanocrystals were synthesized by a two-step mechanochemical synthesis for the first time and optical properties of the nanocry crystals were determined using photoluminescence emission spectroscopy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Preparation of nanosized antimony by mechanochemical reduction of antimony sulphide Sb2S3
TL;DR: In this paper, the preparation of nanosized antimony (grain size 19nm) by high-energy milling of antimony sulphide Sb2S3 with elemental Fe as reducing element is reported.
Journal ArticleDOI
Kinetics of mechanochemical synthesis of Me/FeS (Me = Cu, Pb, Sb) nanoparticles
TL;DR: In this article, the mechanochemical synthesis of Cu, Pb and Sb nanometals was investigated with the regard to solid-state kinetics, and experiments were performed in a planetary mill and in an eccentric vibratory mill by a high-energy milling of Cu 2, PbS, Sb 2 S 3, respectively with elemental iron under a protective atmosphere.
Journal ArticleDOI
Mechanochemistry for Thermoelectrics: Nanobulk Cu 6 Fe 2 SnS 8 /Cu 2 FeSnS 4 Composite Synthesized in an Industrial Mill

TL;DR: In this article, the authors demonstrate the use of elemental precursors, such as Cu, Fe, Sn, and S, to obtain a mawsonite composite using a solid-state process at ambient temperature in an industrial eccentric vibration mill for up to 240min in argon atmosphere.
