Performance enhancement for underlay cognitive radio with partial relay selection methods under impact of hardware impairment

TL;DR: Two partial relay selection protocols in underlay cognitive radio under impact of hardware impairment are investigated to compensate the performance loss due to the hardware noises and the interference constraints required by multiple primary users (PUs).
Journal ArticleDOI

On the Performance of Cognitive Underlay SIMO Networks over Equally Correlated Rayleigh Fading Channels

TL;DR: In this paper, the performance of single-input multiple-output (SIMO) cognitive spectrum sharing networks with the presence of equally correlated Rayleigh fading channels is investigated, based on the truncated infinitive series of cumulative distribution function (CDF) and probability density function (PDF) of the end-to-end signalto-noise ratios (SNRs), close-form expressions are provided for the system outage performance, bit error rate and ergodic capacity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Outage Performance of Cooperative Cognitive Radio Networks under Joint Constraints of Co-Channel Interference, Intercept Probability and Hardware Imperfection

TL;DR: This paper evaluates outage probability (OP) of a cooperative underlay cognitive radio network in the presence of a passive secondary eavesdropper under joint impacts of limited interference from a primary network and hardware impairments.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Transmit antenna selection protocols in random cognitive networks under impact of hardware impairments

TL;DR: Evaluating performances of various transmit antenna selection protocols in underlay cognitive radio network under impact of hardware impairments derives exact and asymptotic closed-form expressions of average outage probability (AOP) for the proposed protocols over Rayleigh fading channel.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Security-reliability analysis for underlay cognitive radio networks with relay selection methods under impact of hardware noises

TL;DR: The main contribution of this work is to derive exact closed-form expressions of the intercept probability for the eavesdropping link and the outage probability on the data link under the impact of hardware impairments.
