China's ongoing energy efficiency drive: Origins, progress and prospects
TL;DR: In 2004, China's government launched a vigorous programme to reverse the trend of rising national energy intensity and to reduce intensity by 20% over the period 2006-2010 as mentioned in this paper. The erratic path of the low-carbon transition in China: Evolution of solar PV policy
TL;DR: This article examined four stages in China's solar PV policy from mid-1990s to 2013 and showed that each is characterized by different combinations of policy program and attributed the changes in government policy and in the resultant trajectory of the solar PV sector are attributed to three main sets of variables.
