Using computer assisted qualitative data analysis software (CAQDAS; NVivo) to assist in the complex process of realist theory generation, refinement and testing

TL;DR: It is proposed that the use of NVivo in realist approaches can help structure the iterative and by nature ‘messy’ process of generating, refining and testing complex programme theories when drawing on multiple data sources simultaneously, which increases its rigour and transparency.

Healthbridge: The National Evaluation of Peer Support Networks and Dementia Advisers in implementation of the National Dementia Strategy for England

TL;DR: People with dementia and carers saw dementia advisers and peer support networks as having a positive impact on their wellbeing and quality of life and both initiatives were seen as having resource saving implications for the local health and social care economy.
Journal ArticleDOI

“What? That’s for Old People, that.” Home Adaptations, Ageing and Stigmatisation: A Qualitative Inquiry

Journal ArticleDOI

Integrated Working for Enhanced Health Care in English Nursing Homes.

TL;DR: The views and experiences of practitioners, social care officers, and carers involved in the enhanced health care in care home programme are explored in order to develop understanding of the service delivery model and associated workforce needs for the provision of health care to older residents.
Journal ArticleDOI
