Simulation of QCD with N f = 2 + 1 flavors of non-perturbatively improved Wilson fermions

TL;DR: In this article, a new technique for analysis of transverse momentum dependent parton distribution functions, based on the Bessel weighting formalism, is presented. But it is only applied to studies of the double longitudinal spin asymmetry in semi-inclusive deep inelastic scattering.
Journal ArticleDOI

Simulation of QCD with N_f=2+1 flavors of non-perturbatively improved Wilson fermions

TL;DR: In this article, a set of gauge configurations generated within the CLS effort are described, which have N_f=2+1 flavors of nonperturbatively improved Wilson fermions in the sea with Luescher-Weisz action used for the gluons.
Journal ArticleDOI

Pion distribution amplitude from Euclidean correlation functions: Exploring universality and higher-twist effects

TL;DR: Bali et al. as mentioned in this paper investigated the feasibility of calculating the pion distribution amplitude from suitably chosen Euclidean correlation functions at large momentum, and demonstrated the advantage of analyzing several correlation functions simultaneously.
Journal ArticleDOI

Pion distribution amplitude from Euclidean correlation functions

TL;DR: In this paper, momentum smearing was used to calculate the pion distribution amplitude (DA) from suitably chosen Euclidean correlation functions at large momentum, which is complementary to the calculations of the lowest moments of the DA using the Wilson operator product expansion and avoids mixing with lower dimensional local operators.
