TL;DR: In experimental schools, mothers showed significant beneficial oral health developments, while teachers showed higher oral health knowledge and more positive attitudes, also being satisfied with training workshops, methods applied, materials used and involvement with children in OHE.

Oral health and the impact of socio-behavioural factors in a cross sectional survey of 12-year old school children in Laos
TL;DR: High risk for caries is revealed for children with low or moderate attitude towards health, a history of dental visits and a preference for drinking sugary drinks during school hours, while school based health promotion should be implemented focussing on skills based learning and attitudes towards health.

TL;DR: Analyses combining beliefs, attitudes and behaviours found that parents' perceived ability to implement regular toothbrushing into their child's daily routine was the most important predictor of whether children had caries and this factor persisted in children from disadvantaged communities.
