The past few decades showed inadequate discussion of the impact of employees’ knowledge sharing and its diffusion on advancing banks’ long-term sustainability. The objective of the study is to examine the role of employees’ knowledge sharing on the sustainable performance of the banks operating in Bangladesh. Furthermore, this study tested the “moderated mediation model” of knowledge hiding and employees’ ambidexterity on the association above. The researchers applied the deductive reasoning method through the application of quantitative techniques, using structural equation modeling. Finally, 287 respondents from different banks were chosen through a self-administered questionnaire survey in the capital city of Dhaka. The findings indicated that all the predictor variables significantly explain the outcome variable, except the influence of knowledge sharing. Mediation analysis showed that employees’ ambidexterity mediated the association between knowledge sharing and sustainable performance. Surprisingly, moderation analysis revealed that the influence of knowledge sharing on employees’ ambidexterity is not affected by knowledge hiding. This study adds to the existing literature by demonstrating the importance of knowledge hiding, along with explaining how knowledge sharing can motivate and influence employees to achieve sustainable performances. In addition, the main contribution of this study is to advance knowledge and add values in the forms of knowledge creation, preservation, and dissemination among practitioners, banking professionals, and academics for utilizing their domain-specific areas to increase long-term sustainability.

The Influence of Knowledge Sharing on Sustainable Performance: A Moderated Mediation Study

The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the mediation role of innovation ambidexterity on the impact of absorptive capacity on sustainable competitive advantage from the previous researchers' data article publication. A survey of academic and non-academic staff from sixty four private higher education institutions (PHEIs) in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia was conducted for the research. A total of five hundred and thirty completed questionnaires from 478 academic and 52 non academic staff were statistically analyzed using SPSS and smart PLS. Investigating sustainable competitive advantage related issues for PHIEs in Indonesia is important for a number of reasons, including supporting the vision of the Golden Indonesia generation 2045. Moreover, the impact of absorptive capacity on sustainable competitive advantage in the literature is remains unclear, thus a new theoretical framework is needed related to the concept of ambidexterity. The finding of this research shows that innovation ambidexterity partially mediates the effect of absorptive capacity on sustainable competitive advantage as proposed in the hypothesis. The implications of this study are discussed.

The impact of absorptive capacity and innovation ambidexterity on sustainable competitive advantage: the case of Indonesian higher education

The study also systematically explores the concepts of regulations, strategic innovation practices on basis of QBL and QHIM theories to adjust the sustainable business growth model from a holistic angle.,The outcomes show that multidisciplinary QBL-QHIM conjunction within the interrelationships of the selected constructs holds the potential for innovation focused business growth in a more sustainable, comprehensive and holistic manner. The study also detects that exploitative-explorative innovation practices can possibly mediate in between suitable regulations and sustainable business growth of SMEs, considering supportive external environment.,Researches are encouraged to test the proposed model.,The study indicates a conceptual configuration for policy makers as well as entrepreneurs to ensure sustainable business growth for SMEs. The intervention of strategic innovation practices in between regulations and sustainable business growth: a holistic perspective for Malaysian SMEs

Drawing from boundary-spamming knowledge processes and knowledge-based theory, the purpose of this paper is to study enablers of the knowledge management (KM) process using robust multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) tools like interpretive structural modeling (ISM) and decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL) method.,Drawing on the knowledge-based view and through the detailed literature review among different KM success, eight enablers were identified. By using the ISM-DEMATEL approach, a systematic framework was designed, and further cause–effect relationship diagram visualized a causal relationship among the enablers.,The combined approach of ISM-DEMATEL showcase that “knowledge creation” and “knowledge capture” are essential enablers. These two identified enablers have considered being pillars for KM implementation. On the other side, knowledge organization, knowledge application are dependent enablers.,From a practical viewpoint, the findings of this research work enable the industry consultants to identify the most prominent driving enablers for KM implementation. Additionally, it provides a clue for the effective implementation of KM in a systematic approach.,The integrated method depending on the hierarchical model and cause–effect relationship between enablers of the KM process is a novel approach that opens a new research area in this domain. Moreover, this is the first-ever attempt to combine ISM along with DEMATEL to identify enablers of the KM process.

In this paper, we highlight that ambidextrous organisations are more likely to achieve organisational sustainability which is a growing concern in the current volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) environment. Ambidextrous organisations can achieve sustainability through exploration and exploitation using three approaches, that is, sequential, structural and contextual. Knowledge workers comprising the top management team, senior leaders and other employees play an important role in choosing the approaches to organisational ambidexterity and therefore, to organisational performance and organisational sustainability. We further suggest that this process is influenced by strategy, structure and culture in the organisations. Thus, this paper adds to the literature on organisational ambidexterity and sustainability by proposing a conceptual framework.

Community solar has the capability to broaden solar accessibility and convalesce financial feasibility in comparison to conventional and commercial solar options and holds the potential to be part of the energy mix. Community solar avails ingress and affordability to solar power for those who may not be able to exploit it either due to financial or location constraints. Parallelly, it solves the issues related to electrification, fossil fuel crisis and greenhouse gas emission, contributes to sustainable development goals (SDG 7 and SDG 11), and realization of net-zero goals, however, the presence of barriers makes the adoption or scaling of community solar difficult. This research work intends to identify twelve crucial barriers for the adoption of community solar on the basis of the literature review and the perception of experts in the energy system. In this paper, we adopted hybrid Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) - Decision Ma king Trail and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) approach for comprehension of the causal and hierarchical relationships among barriers for community solar adoption. The result suggested that lack of consumer awareness, lack of regulations and policies addressing community solar and lack of business model are the most influential barriers as depicted in ISM-DEMATEL based methodology. With the presented novel method, policy-makers, utilities and communities can liaise, coordinate and practice the system-wide advantages of community energy projects. It can also aid the public sector in comprehending the barriers and requirements of people.
