To compete or not compete: exploring the relationships between motorcycle-based ride-sourcing, motorcycle taxis, and public transport in the Jakarta metropolitan area

TL;DR: In this paper, a structural equation model was applied to investigate the relationship between motorcycle-based ride-sourcing, motorcycle taxis, and public transport in the Jakarta metropolitan area, and the results showed that the motorcycle taxi works as a complementary mode for TransJakarta bus and Jakarta commuter train, but as a competitor with the motorcycle taxis.
