Journal ArticleDOI

Targeted deletion of PD-1 in myeloid cells induces antitumor immunity.

TL;DR: It is found that selective ablation of PD-1 in myeloid cells was just as effective at limiting tumor growth as global deletion ofPD-1 and metabolic reprogramming of emergency myelopoiesis and differentiation of effector myeloids cells might be a key mechanism of antitumor immunity mediated by PD- 1 blockade.
Journal ArticleDOI

Revisiting the PD-1 pathway

TL;DR: This review provides an overview of recent advances in understanding the interactions and signaling of PD-1 and its ligands and discusses the implications of these new discoveries and the gaps that remain to be filled.
Journal ArticleDOI

Interaction of SHP-2 SH2 domains with PD-1 ITSM induces PD-1 dimerization and SHP-2 activation.

TL;DR: The results unravel a mechanism of PD-1: SHP-2 interaction that depends only on ITSM-Y248 and explain how a single docking site within thePD-1 cytoplasmic tail can activate SHp-2 and PD- 1-mediated inhibitory function.
Journal ArticleDOI

The PD-1 Interactome.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a review of PD-1 interactions and their significance in potential future therapeutic approaches and discuss the current advances in understanding the mechanisms of extracellular and intracellular PD1 interactions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Immune cellular components and signaling pathways in the tumor microenvironment.

TL;DR: In this article , the authors discuss recent discoveries about the immune cellular composition of the tumor microenvironment (TME) and the role of key signaling mechanisms that compromise the function of immune cells leading to cancer immune escape.
