Premixed combustion of low-concentration coal mine methane with water vapor addition in a two-section porous media burner
TL;DR: In this article, the effects of water vapor addition on the low-concentration coal mine methane combustion in porous media were investigated, and a 2D numerical model based on a two-section ceramic foam burner setup with high flame stability was established and multi-step kinetics mechanisms were imported to the model.
Journal ArticleDOI
Inhibition of diammonium phosphate on the wheat dust explosion
Qi Zhao,Xianfeng Chen,Huaming Dai,Chuyuan Huang,Jing Liu,Song He,Bihe Yuan,Pan Yang,Huiwei Zhu,Guangqian Liang,Bingqian Zhang +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a vertical pipeline was built to study the explosion of wheat dust with different particle size distribution under the addition of (NH4)2HPO4, and the characteristics of the wheat dust explosion were recorded by high-speed photography, ion probe and micro-thermocouple.
Journal ArticleDOI
Investigation on thermokinetic suppression of ammonium polyphosphate on sucrose dust deflagration: Based on flame propagation, thermal decomposition and residue analysis
Chuyuan Huang,Bihe Yuan,Hongming Zhang,Qi Zhao,Ping Li,Xianfeng Chen,Yalong Yun,Yalong Yun,Gongqing Chen,Mengmeng Feng,Yi Li +10 more
TL;DR: It is confirmed that APP can delay peak temperature arrival time, weaken temperature fluctuation, and decrease peak values of flame temperature and temperature rising rate, which provides a new solution for prevention and suppression deflagration of dust waste in sugar industry.
Journal ArticleDOI
Characteristics of coal dust deflagration under the atmosphere of methane and their inhibition by coal ash
TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the flame propagation of coal dust deflagration and the inhibition characteristics of coal ash which as a mixed inert powder under the atmosphere of methane, and built a vertical combustion pipe with half-open.
Journal ArticleDOI
Suppression characteristics and mechanisms of ABC powder on methane/coal dust compound deflagration
Qi Zhao,Xianfeng Chen,Manjiang Yang,Hongming Zhang,Chuyuan Huang,Huaming Dai,Yi Li,Jing Liu,Huiwei Zhu +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, a vertical combustion pipe was built to conduct the deflagration experiment of coal dust/ABC powder, and the chemical bonds and surface functional groups of the residue were characterized.
