Phase transformation behaviors and properties of a high strength Cu-Ni-Si alloy
TL;DR: In this article, the phase transformation behaviors and properties of a synthesized Cu-6.0Ni-1.0Si-0.5Al alloy were investigated systematically, and the results showed that the high strength and high electrical conductivity of the alloy were primarily attributed to the Orowan precipitation strengthening and secondary attributed to solid solution strengthening, the Hall-Petch type grain boundary strengthening, and work hardening.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of aluminum on microstructure and property of Cu–Ni–Si alloys
TL;DR: The effect of aluminum on the microstructure and properties of Cu-Ni-Si alloys has been investigated using hardness test, electrical conductivity measurement, optical microscopy, X-ray diffraction analysis, scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscope as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
A new ultrahigh strength Cu-Ni-Si alloy
TL;DR: In this paper, a new ultrahigh strength Cu-6.0 Ni-1.0 Si-0.5 Al 0.15 Mg- 0.1 Cr alloy has been developed by alloying design and thermal mechanical treatment.
Journal ArticleDOI
Causes analysis on cracks in nickel-based single crystal superalloy fabricated by laser powder deposition additive manufacturing
TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper fabricated single crystal superalloy samples through laser powder deposition, and analyzed the causes of crack during deposition processing, showing that the as-deposited thin-wall samples presented single crystal structure and its crystal orientation is well aligned with the [001] orientation of substrate.
Journal ArticleDOI
Microstructure and mechanical properties of high product of strength and elongation Al-Zn-Mg-Cu-Zr alloys fabricated by spray deposition
TL;DR: In this paper, large-scale Al-Zn-Mg-Cu-Zr alloys rods were fabricated by spray deposition and followed by hot extrusion and solution treatment, which resulted in a good combination of strength and elongation.
