Journal ArticleDOI
A review on recent developments of indole-containing antiviral agents.
TL;DR: This review focused on the recent development of indole derivatives as antiviral agents and summarized the structure property, hoping to inspire new and even more creative approaches to discover novel drugs with different modes of action.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis, antifungal activity and CoMFA analysis of novel 1,2,4-triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine derivatives
TL;DR: A 3D-QSAR analysis using the method of comparative molecular field analysis (CoMFA) was performed and a statistically reliable model with good predictive power was achieved on the basis of the common substructure-based alignment.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and antifungal activity of 3-(1,3,4-oxadiazol-5-yl)-indoles and 3-(1,3,4-oxadiazol-5-yl)methyl-indoles.
Ming-Zhi Zhang,Nick Mulholland,David Beattie,Dianne Irwin,Yu-Cheng Gu,Qiong Chen,Guang-Fu Yang,John Martin Clough +7 more
TL;DR: Bioassays conducted at Syngenta showed that several of the synthesized compounds exhibit higher antifungal activity than pimprinine, the natural product which inspired this synthesis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Design, synthesis, and 3D-QSAR analysis of novel 1,3,4-oxadiazol-2(3H)-ones as protoporphyrinogen oxidase inhibitors
Li-Li Jiang,Ying Tan,Ying Tan,Xiao-Lei Zhu,Zhi-Fang Wang,Zhi-Fang Wang,Yang Zuo,Qiong Chen,Zhen Xi,Guang-Fu Yang +9 more
TL;DR: Some benzothiazole analogues of oxadiargyl, an important PPO-inhibiting commercial herbicide, were designed and synthesized by ring-closing of the substituents at the C-4 and C-5 positions and indicated that the series 8, 9, and 10 have good PPO inhibition activity with k(i) values ranging from 0.25 to 18.63 microM.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and herbicidal evaluation of triketone-containing quinazoline-2,4-diones.
Da-Wei Wang,Hong-Yan Lin,Run-Jie Cao,Sheng-Gang Yang,Qiong Chen,Ge-Fei Hao,Wen-Chao Yang,Guang-Fu Yang +7 more
TL;DR: The structure and activity relationship in this study indicated that the triketone-containing quinazoline-2,4-dione motif has possessed great impact on herbicide activity and may be used for further optimization.
