Frank B. Dean,Seiyu Hosono,Linhua Fang,Xiaohong Wu,A. Fawad Faruqi,Patricia Bray-Ward,Zhenyu Sun,Qiuling Zong,Yuefen Du,Jing Du,Mark D. Driscoll,Wanmin Song,Stephen F. Kingsmore,Michael Egholm,Roger S. Lasken +14 more
TL;DR: MDA-based whole genome amplification by multiple displacement amplification is a simple and reliable method that could have significant implications for genetic studies, forensics, diagnostics, and long-term sample storage.
Journal ArticleDOI
High-throughput genotyping of single nucleotide polymorphisms with rolling circle amplification
A. Fawad Faruqi,Seiyu Hosono,Mark D. Driscoll,Frank B. Dean,Osama Alsmadi,Rajanikanta Bandaru,Gyanendra Kumar,Brian Grimwade,Qiuling Zong,Zhenyu Sun,Yuefen Du,Stephen F. Kingsmore,Tim Knott,Roger S. Lasken +13 more
TL;DR: Compatibility with homogeneous formats and the ability to assay small amounts of genomic DNA meets the exacting requirements of automated, high-throughput SNP scoring.
Journal ArticleDOI
Optimization of Rolling-Circle Amplified Protein Microarrays for Multiplexed Protein Profiling
Weiping Shao,Zhimin Zhou,Isabelle Laroche,Hong Lu,Qiuling Zong,Dhavalkumar D. Patel,Stephen F. Kingsmore,Steven P. Piccoli +7 more
TL;DR: The generation of highly multiplexed, antibody-based, specific, and sensitive protein microarrays coupled with rolling-circle signal amplification (RCA) technology is described and validation of antibody microarray with human serum indicated that RCA-based proteinmicroarrays are a powerful tool for high-throughput analysis of protein expression and molecular diagnostics.
