Development and Validation of a Nomogram for Predicting Survival in Patients With Resected Non–Small-Cell Lung Cancer
Wenhua Liang,Li Zhang,Gening Jiang,Qun Wang,Lunxu Liu,Deruo Liu,Zheng Wang,Zhihua Zhu,Qiuhua Deng,Xinguo Xiong,Wenlong Shao,Xiaoshun Shi,Jianxing He +12 more
TL;DR: A novel nomogram is established and validated that can provide individual prediction of OS for patients with resected NSCLC and may help clinicians in decision making and design of clinical studies.
Journal ArticleDOI
Video-assisted thoracic surgery versus open thoracotomy for non-small-cell lung cancer: a propensity score analysis based on a multi-institutional registry.
Christopher Cao,Zhihua Zhu,Tristan D. Yan,Qun Wang,Gening Jiang,Lunxu Liu,Deruo Liu,Zheng Wang,Wenlong Shao,Deborah Black,Qian Zhao,Jianxing He +11 more
TL;DR: The current propensity score analysis suggests that well-matched patients with NSCLC who underwent standardized VATS lobectomy had similar long-term survival outcomes when compared with those who underwent open lobectomy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Two plasma microRNA panels for diagnosis and subtype discrimination of lung cancer.
Shaohua Lu,Hui Kong,Yingyong Hou,Di Ge,Wei Huang,Jiaxian Ou,Dawei Yang,Li Zhang,Guoming Wu,Yong Song,Xiaoju Zhang,Changwen Zhai,Qun Wang,Hongguang Zhu,Ying Wu,Chunxue Bai +15 more
TL;DR: Two plasma microRNA panels are constructed and validated that have considerable clinical value in diagnosis of lung cancer, and could play an important role in determining optimal treatment strategies based on discrimination between SCLC and NSCLC.
Journal ArticleDOI
Lymph node metastasis in clinical stage IA peripheral lung cancer
TL;DR: The rate of metastasis to the lymph nodes is very low in clinical stage IA peripheral lung cancer patients, and patients with a dominant GGO component on CT might be the suitable candidates for lung segmentectomy because of almost no lymph node metastasis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Identification of reference genes for qRT-PCR in human lung squamous-cell carcinoma by RNA-Seq
TL;DR: ACTB, EEF1A1, FAU, RPS9, R PS11, and RPS14 are ideal reference genes for qRT-PCR analysis of lung squamous-cell carcinoma, while 14 commonly used qRT -PCR reference genes are less appropriate in this context.
