Changes in Activities of Antioxidant Enzymes and Their Relationship to Genetic and Paclobutrazol-Induced Chilling Tolerance of Maize Seedlings.

TL;DR: Analysis of enzyme activities and isozyme profiles of chilling-susceptible and chilling-tolerant inbreds suggests that increased activities of SOD in leaves and GR in roots of CO 328, as well as SOD and APX in Leaves and roots of paclobutrazol-treated CO 316, contribute to their enhanced chilling tolerance.
Journal ArticleDOI

Triadimefon Protects Bean Plants from Water Stress through its Effects on Abscisic Acid

TL;DR: Examen des effets du triadimefon sur la croissance, les relations hydriques and the types of variations des teneurs en ABA en conditions de deficit hydrique.
Journal ArticleDOI

An Improved Bioassay for Cytokinins Using Cucumber Cotyledons

TL;DR: Of the four cytokinins tested, kinetin appeared to be the least active and the assay is 10 times more sensitive than is the previously described cucumber cotyledon greening bioassay for cytokinin.
Journal ArticleDOI

Improvement of uniconazole-induced protection in wheat seedlings

TL;DR: The combination pretreatment of the imbibed seeds used in this study not only magnifies the protective and PGR effects of uniconazole but also supports the concept of acclimation and cross-tolerance.
