Sonocatalytic degradation of RhB over LuFeO3 particles under ultrasonic irradiation.

TL;DR: Hydroxyl (·OH) radicals were detected by fluorimetry using terephthalic acid as a probe molecule, revealing that they are produced over the ultrasonic-irradiated LuFeO3 particles, which indicates that ·OH radicals are the primary active species responsible for the dye degradation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Enhanced photocatalytic activity of surface disorder-engineered CaTiO3

TL;DR: In this article, the authors attempted to create surface disorder on CaTiO3 nanocuboids by NaBH4 treatment with the aim of enhancing the photocatalytic activity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Construction of Ag2S@CaTiO3 heterostructure photocatalysts for enhanced photocatalytic degradation of dyes

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors have assembled Ag2S carbon quantum dots (CQDs) onto CaTiO3 nanocuboids (NCs), aimed at creating a composite photocatalysts with superior performance.
Journal ArticleDOI

Evolution of Bi Nanowires from BiOBr Nanoplates Through a NaBH4 Reduction Method with Enhanced Photodegradation Performance

TL;DR: In this article, a coprecipitation method was used to synthesize BiOBr nanoplates with diameter of 150-450 nm and thickness of 40-80 nm.
Journal ArticleDOI

Enhanced Photocatalytic Performance and Mechanism of Au@CaTiO3 Composites with Au Nanoparticles Assembled on CaTiO3 Nanocuboids

TL;DR: Under irradiation of all kinds of light sources, the Au@Ca TiO3 composites, particularly the 4.3%Au@CaTiO3 composite, exhibit greatly enhanced photocatalytic performance when compared with bare CaTiO 3 NCs.
